Model 1620ESv2 Failsafe

The Resurge Failsafe Model 1620ESv2 Electric Actuator "Failsafe" Controller, has been developed to operate any size single phase 120 Vac, 60 Hz, and 240 Vac 50Hz Permanent Split Capacitor valve actuator as a standby power supply, activated only upon main power supply failure. The valve actuator is connected to the 120V AC line in normal fashion through standard controls. Upon power failure, the Model 1620ESv2 standby power unit senses lack of voltage and automatically sends the valve to the "Failsafe" position. The end of travel limit switches, located in the valve actuator, when reached, will then turn OFF the "Failsafe" module. Upon power resumption, the valve will return to the last position called for by the controller. The Resurge Failsafe 1620ESv2 is sized to the locked rotor amperage draw of the actuator, and is designed to sit in an ever ready status for up to five years with out battery replacement.
